‚??Chief Engineer‚??s Log‚?Ě
Star date 65053.9. After many hours with Lt. Barkley, we found out why the Holo-Deck broke down (at the worst time) during my adventure with Captain Picard and the BORG.  Barkley discovered an algorithm in the program, that when the Mission Log was active and played back, was set to disengage the Holo-Deck after a certain amount of time had past. One thing I did not notice, was that the mission was marked top secret by Starfleet Command.  It took me two weeks to get authorization to run the program.
After looking through the log, I found where I left off.¬† The Enterprise was locked in the Borg Cube‚??s tractor beam. The Borg started to cut a hole in the Enterprise at which point¬† Lt. Shelby told Data to start rotating the phasers as fast as he could not to allowing the Borg to adapt. The Tractor beam was broken and we went into warp 9.3. The Borg Cube was right on our tails. Picard remembered that there was a dense nebula that was perfect to hide in. The Enterprise headed in full steam ahead. The Borg stopped at the boundary of the nebula.
The Enterprise, moderately safe from the Borg for the moment, began their repairs. Picard also thought that with the Borg hunting them in the nebula they couldn‚??t harm anyone else.¬† As the Enterprise made repairs, the Borg start to bombard the nebula with space charges and forced Picard to make a drastic decision to take the Enterprise out of the nebula and confront the Borg.
When the Enterprise came in to range of the Cube, Captain Picard gave the order to open fire on the Cube.  The Cube almost immediately adapted to the Enterprise and locked it in its tractor beam. Within seconds, three Borg teleported on to the bridge, Worf killed one and the Borg nearest Picard grabbed him and teleported back to the Cube. The other Borg teleported off the ship, the tractor beam was disengaged and the Cube warped away.  Riker set a course in pursuit.
