Things I Love Thursday: Disney Style

Hey everyone! Welcome to this week??s Things I Love Thursday: Disney Style. The theme of this week??s TILT is Kinect: Disneyland Adventures. I chose this theme because of the DAPs coverage of Devastation. Initially I was going to write about multiple games but realized I never got a full opportunity to talk about things I loved about trying out Kinect: Disneyland Adventures.

Characters- According to the press release, there will be 35 characters that players can interact with. Players can ask for autographs, hug, accept quests and more! Each character will interact with players differently. We were able to interact with Peter Pan when I tested the game. Let??s just say he isn??t a fan of hugs!

Attractions- There is going to be 20 attractions featured in Kinect: Disneyland Adventures! Each attraction will be interactive and feature different activities for players. I tried both the Matterhorn and Pirates of the Caribbean! Both were so much fun that I can??t wait to get the game and play the full versions.

Potential DLCs- Obviously because the game has yet to be released there is no word on whether or not Xbox will release downloadable content for Kinect: Disneyland Adventures. However, the potential for it is huge! Not only could they add more attractions or games to existing attractions, but they could also have ??merchandise? packs, additional characters and perhaps a DCA expansion!

Home Vacation- One of the huge selling points of this game is the fact that it allows people who aren??t near the park to experience it in a unique way. You can actually walk down Main Street or through the various lands. The details are quite impressive, even down to the trash cans!

As you can see, this game is going to be AMAZING! I can??t even begin to talk about how excited I am for this and so happy it will be an Xbox title! The release date is currently listed at November 15 2011. Stay tuned for more news and updates about Kinect: Disneyland Adventures. On a more serious note, I want to take a moment to dedicate this blog to Steve Jobs, who passed away yesterday. His creativity and influence will be greatly missed.

Have a Magical Day!
