The Muppets…Again has a new name. Yesterday, it was announced that this movie will now be called Muppets Most Wanted.

Here is what Disney had to say about the change:

• MUPPETS MOST WANTED is the final title of the follow-up to 2011’s THE MUPPETS. The previously announced 3/21/14 wide playdate is unchanged.
•  Starring Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, Disney’s MUPPETS MOST WANTED takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour where they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper.

I personally find this name to be a much better name than The Muppets…Again. Muppets Most Wanted tells something about this movie. The old name… was pretty generic. It really could be a movie about anything Muppets related. The name now seems to indicate some sort of caper involving a criminal plot of one kind or another… that probably doesn’t go so well for The Muppets.

The release date for Muppets Most Wanted is March 21, 2014.

I’ve seen him in concert twice and have a pretty awesome collection of both music and books about and by McCartney. Last night, Paul McCartney was on the Colbert Report. It was AWESOME! There have been several times I have watched the original trilogy of Star Wars back to back. It takes… quite a bit of time. Now you can watch the entire original trilogy back to back in about… two minutes. It has been re-filmed using LEGOs and is narrated by a young boy… Anakin perhaps? Nope, probably not… You can decide why not when you watch this film. It is stop motion, something I love, and really quite amusing. I hope you enjoy it!

I really loved how they captured all the really important plot parts of the trilogy. I also love the humor that was used in this showcasing of Star Wars. The only thing I wish there was more of is the I want more Star Wars music! I’m not going to complain though. How about you? What are your thoughts on the whole thing?

Origin

Oliver Queen had tragedy in the form of both his parents killed. The series takes a different angle and has one parent gone instead. What remains the same is being washed up on an island, having to learn to fight, and stopping a conspiracy on the island. Queen is also a rich playboy. The comics had him originally a more light-hearted Batman type character. Over the years he became more of a gruff hero that fit side by side with Batman. It is a similar city that Oliver Queen presides in, but the comics have him in Star City instead of Starling City.

Laurel Lance

Laurel is Queen’s girlfriend and later wife in the comics (although it’s reset in DC’s new 52). Lance’s first name in the comics is Dinah. And she is better known for her alter ego, Black Canary. The two are a longtime pair in the comics world, and Black Canary is a skilled martial artist and has the super power of a sonic scream. The show has her not completely helpless, but not a super hero…at least not yet.

Merlyn

The arch nemesis of Green Arrow. He was the black archer of the comics, but had no ties to Oliver Queen. Although in the new origins of the 52 in DC Comics, Tommy Merlyn was the best friend of Queen. And this is even different from it being Tommy’s father like in the TV series.  Merlyn is known as the Dark Archer in this first season.  And he seems to meet his demise in the end of the season finale, but it’s hard to tell whether this will stay permanent.

Self-hosted WordPress or wordpress.org is the standard version of WordPress. It’s available for free on the WordPress website and requires PHP 4.3 and MySQL 4.1.2 on the server of your choice to work. With this option, you provide your own server space and configure your own site. This leaves endless possibilities for functionality from installing your own themes and plugins, to building your own from scratch. This is, subsequently, the more labor-intensive option and is best for those who have some decent coding skills and know how to configure a server. Self-hosted WordPress sites can be some of the most advanced sites on the web and by far some of the coolest.

WordPress.com launched in November 2005 as an alternative to running your own server install of WordPress. WordPress.com offers individual blogs for free and takes care of all of the hosting and server configuration. There are some features of WordPress.com that have a cost, but a standard blog may or may not need these features. You are limited to the offered plugins and themes, but you can customize most things to your individuality. This is, by far, a better option for those who are new to working with code and just want to get some awesome content out there.

In any case, WordPress is my favorite blogging and content management system. The WordPress community is a very supportive group and encourages learning new things. You should definitely consider it next time you need to start a web site. Go out there and learn!

This trailer definitely sets the tone for this movie. It’s going to be adventure, conflict, friendship, adversity, and of course… the massive dragon Smaug. Speaking of Smaug, I was a little curious if they were actually going to reveal him in this trailer. As for the trailer itself. I’m loving some of the characters they introduced. It also sounds like there will be some memorable lines coming from the second part of this three movie telling of The Hobbit. I can’t wait to see the next part of the journey through Middle Earth that Peter Jackson will be taking us on in December! How about you?

I personally am really looking forward to trying this one out. I think it’ll be a wonderful adventure that will continue to build upon the legacy already created in the Kingdom Hearts series. Ironically enough, I was just speculating about the future of Kingdom Hearts with a friend last night as we drove back from Disneyland. I guess we know now! It’s in development and will be exclusive to Playstation 4 to start off with. What are your thoughts?

Meet Dougie Colon, the host of the new television show created by the same folks who created The Muppet Show! Dougie Colon (pronounced Cologne) is the host of That Puppet Game Show, a new and zany television show that will be coming to BBC One in Great Britain on Saturday nights later this year.

So what is this new creation you ask? This will be a gameshow where two celebrities will be pitted against each other to play some pretty wacky games. They will be playing for ten thousand pounds, which will be donated to charity. Currently, the list of celebrities include: Jonathan Ross, Richard Hammond, Jack Dee, Tess Daly, Gary Lineker, Claudia Winkleman, Katherine Jenkins, and Freddie Flintoff.

The games will cover different topics like sports, science, celebrity, nature, music and mental agility. Dougie Colon will be assisted by expert puppets for each game. They will bring their expertise to help with the given subject matter.

Beyond the gameshow, That Puppet Game Show will also be part sitcom as it takes a look behind the scenes at the different puppets who produce and make the show happen.

I’m personally quite excited by this new show. It looks to me like they are retooling the original The Muppet Show as a game show. Obviously it is a completely different set of characters and I’m noticing they are conspicuously calling all of the characters Puppets and not Muppets but… I don’t really care. I can’t wait to see this! I hope it is has a long and successful life and I hope it’ll be coming to the USA in the not so distant future! I really want to hear your thoughts now. Star Wars: Battlefront was announced today by Electronic Arts and the Star Wars: Battlefront Teaser Trailer is here and it is pretty epic! Let’s take a look at it shall we?

So what do you think?

It’s short and it’s awesome in my humble opinion. I love the look and feel of this. It reminds me of some other war games I’ve played that are recreating historical or warfare scenarios that our military forces would face. In this case though, it is clearly a member of the Rebel Alliance on Hoth. The use of the Frostbite 3 engine looks like it is going to make this game absolutely stunning.
